Admissions and Recruitment
I Have Applied- Spring 2024
About 7-10 business days after applying at Cal State Apply, you will receive an email with your student ID number. Make sure the spam filters on your email account are set to accept email from mail.fresnostate.edu Important admission notifications will be sent to your Fresno State email account.
Update Cal State Apply Application- If you have enrolled in Summer 2023 courses, please update your course grade by the deadline of Spetmber 15, 2023.
Please complete the following steps prior to September 15, 2023:
- Login to Cal State Apply and select Check Status page
- Download a PDF copy of your application to review your academic information and transferable GPA.
- Add any new colleges attended, if needed.Review your transcript Entry for each college you have attended.
- Ensure ALL courses have been entered
Review and update the Transferable Flag, if needed. - Update ALL grades for summer 2023 coursework
- Ensure all Fall 2023 courses are entered
- Ensure repeated courses have a grade of RP annAcademic Renewal courses have a grade of AR
- Update your General Education information, if needed.
- Ensure ALL courses have been entered
- For further details on ensuring your college coursework is accurate, please refer to the Cal State Apply Transfer Application Guide
Submit official transcripts including summer 2023 grades, and Fall 2023 work in progress and other official documents such as AP test scores by September 15, 2023.
Check your admission status and "To-Do List" for missing documents in your student center. (my.fresnostate.edu)
I Have Been Admitted- Spring 2024
Accept your admission and register for Dog Days orientation beginning October 1, 2023, thru November 15, 2023
Submit your final official school transcript(s) from all institutions attended by January 15, 2024
Incoming students must complete their Dog Days reservation by November 15 for transfer students. Students who do not complete the registration process by the deadline may have their admission to Fresno State subject to cancellation.

New Bulldog Visit Day- We welcome future Bulldogs and share more information about our services and programs. This festive day will also showcase our Bulldog Spirit with student performances, tours, games, music, and other fun activities.
